Duties & Responsibilities Provide 2nd tier technical support to all Operations teams with regards to data network infrastructure and services. • Follow the escalation model depending on the severity of the situation. • Perform periodic health-check. • Responsible for network audits to identify improvement areas and requirement of capacity and bandwidth upgradation. • Generate performance report and troubleshooting. • Submit and perform planned works and activities (upgrades, restorations, fiber cuts, update the network basic data, backups, patch upgrades, etc.) in the network in coordination with the Field Services team and the NOC (Network Operations Center) team as per the planned activities and change management procedures. • Provide 24/7 emergency call outs to NOC team and other teams for critical and urgent activities in coordination with the manager. • Follow up with vendors and Field Network Operations team for resolution of anomalies and abnormal alarms. • Responsible for daily operations for internal and external stakeholders. • Perform any other related tasks and duties as directed.

Job Specifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer / Telecommunications Engineering or any related field. • Technical certifications or equivalent experience. • Knowledge of deploying IP protocols and troubleshooting. • Knowledge on Huawei & Cisco switches / routers. • Understanding of telecom networks. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 3+ years’ experience in Transport Networks domain (IP/MPLS (Internet Protocol / Multi-Protocol Label Switching), PE (Provider Edge) networking, backhaul Transport Networks, routers management and telecom business). • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, optimizing and testing of routing protocols; such as OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), ISIS (Intermediate System to Intermediate System), MPLS, MPLS LDP (Label Distribution Protocol), RSVP (Resource Reservation Protocol), SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6), EVPN (Ethernet Virtual Private Network), and Seamless MPLS. • Experience with network products of one or more of the following: Cisco, Huawei, Nokia
